Crafter's Companion Script Words Die Set

Hello, Everybody! I hope that you are all enjoying a safe and fun weekend! I just wanted to pop in for a minute and share another Craft Event SNEAK PEEK with you!

During her September 10th HSN visit, Sara will be bringing THREE fantastic sets of word dies with her. I made this card using the new "Script Words" die set - my favorite! Each of these core word die sets includes *30* different words so that you can mix and match to create the perfect sentiment for any occasion. Plus, each word die has its own matching shadow/outline layer die - for a total of 60 individual dies per set. These are an amazing bargain and an essential cardmaking staple, for sure!

Now...I've noticed on some previous posts that a few of y'all have mentioned having difficulty lining up word die cuts like these and getting them all nice and straight on your card - so, I'm going to share a little trick I use! Rather than adhering your words directly to the card, cut a piece of vellum the same width, but one inch longer than the card layer you want to place the words on. Score the vellum at one half inch on each end - this should make a perfect sleeve for your cardstock layer. Next, lay the vellum on top of a sheet of lined notebook paper - or any kind of lined paper - and adhere the word die cuts to the vellum using the visible lines underneath to get everything nice and tidy! Presto - you have a perfectly aligned sentiment! To finish if off, simply apply some red liner tape - or your glue of choice - to the back top and bottom of your cardstock layer, glue down your vellum layer tabs, and you've got a perfect result every time! (If you are using a large piece of vellum, you *may* want to use a little glue or tape runner adhesive on the backside - hidden behind the words - to ensure the vellum lies nice and flat over your cardstock layer.)

Crafter's Companion Circle Sentiment Stamp & Die Set

Hello Everyone and Happy...Wow! Is it Friday already??? I have no idea where this week has gone. If I'm totally honest, I have no idea where this MONTH has gone, but here we are on the cusp of September and...you guessed it! Another HSN Craft Event!

Y'all know how much I always struggle with these "Sneak Peeks" ahead of the shows. I never know which of my makes to post. And with so many of the items already available on the HSN website, and so many of you already busy at work on your *amazing* creations with items you've already ordered, I am even more clueless than usual about what y'all might like to see!

So...knowing how much we papercrafters ALWAYS love to add new sentiments to our collections - let's face it, you can never have too many! - I thought I couldn't go too wrong in sharing a card I made featuring one of the wonderful new Circle Sentiment Stamp & Die Sets! This card is a bit of a two-for-one, so I have included two pictures - the first one is of the card closed with the sentiment used as a belly band adornment. The second picture is of the card opened and in its presentation position. I hope you'll like it!

Hello Everybody and Happy Wednesday!!!

Who is getting excited for yet another HSN Craft Event? I have been hard at work putting together samples for September 10th, and couldn't wait to share a SNEAK PEEK card that I made with the awesome new 2019 Advent Calendar! Now, obviously this one is geared towards the "early openers" - but this adorable kitty die could be used in a zillion ways for any occasion! (Yes, even Halloween!!!)
